Since April 2026 an employer registers once with the Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ), which also covers employment tax, and reports every employee every month in one unified monthly report. Each employee's health insurer is still separate. Mistakes or late registrations are fined. We take that off your hands.
What we do
- Register your company as an employer with social security (which since April 2026 also covers the tax office) and with the health insurers. A foreign company can employ people here without a Czech branch.
- Register and deregister employees, and handle the agreements for short jobs (DPP and DPČ).
- Monthly payroll: payslips, tax advances, social security and health insurance, the monthly reports and the payment orders.
- Yearly: the employees' annual tax settlement, the yearly overviews for the authorities, and the employer's tax reports.
- Employment contracts: checked or drafted, and advice on employee or trade license for a new hire.
Hiring someone from outside the EU? They need an employee card or a work permit before they start, which can take months. A self-employed contract on a trade license is often faster; book a consultation for details on your specific situation.
What an employee costs
On top of the gross salary, the employer pays 24.8% social security and 9% health insurance. See what an employee costs and the net salary calculator.
