We keep the books of small and medium-sized companies owned or run by foreigners: Czech s.r.o.s, and foreign companies that are registered for VAT or employ people here. The team is led by certified tax advisor Ing. Karel Zacko (CZ Tax Advisor #4794), who handles VAT and corporate income tax.

What we do
- Bookkeeping (double-entry accounting), monthly or quarterly, from the invoices and bank statements you send.
- VAT: registration (full VAT or VAT-light), monthly or quarterly VAT returns, control statements (kontrolní hlášení) and EC sales lists (souhrnné hlášení).
- Payroll for your employees and directors: see payroll.
- Year-end: closing, financial statements, the corporate income tax return and the filing in the Collection of Deeds.
- Authorities: letters and requests from the tax office, social security and health insurers, through the company's data box (datová schránka).
How it works
- A first meeting about your company, its activities and what has been filed so far.
- You give us a power of attorney and access to the data box, and send your documents each month or quarter.
- We book everything, file what is due, and tell you what the company has to pay and by when.
VAT in short
A Czech company becomes a VAT payer the day after its turnover passes 2,536,500 CZK within a calendar year, or from 1 January after a calendar year with more than 2,000,000 CZK. Services bought from or sold to businesses in other EU countries make a company an identified person (VAT-light) from the first invoice; goods bought from other EU countries do so once they pass 326,000 CZK in a calendar year. Try the VAT calculator for amounts including and excluding VAT.
Prices
Four suggested packages, priced by the number of documents (invoices, receipts, bank items) a month, with the data box and the authorities handled.

Talk to our tax advisor first
An SRO always has double-entry accounting. Even a handful of documents can turn into a big job, especially when nothing has been done to the books for years. So talk to our tax advisor, Ing. Karel Zacko: together you look at your company and select the right package, including any catching up on past years.

Year-end and tax return
Some SROs are so small that they only need the books done once a year. Then you pay no monthly accounting, only the year-end closing and the tax return below. Ask our tax advisor whether that fits your company.
| Year-end closing, by yearly turnover | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 2 million CZK | 0 CZK |
| 2 – 5 million CZK | 4,000 CZK |
| 5 – 10 million CZK | 9,000 CZK |
| 10 million CZK and more | 15,000 CZK |
| Corporate income tax return with all appendices | 7,500 CZK |
| Corporate income tax return for a dormant SRO (no business activity in the year) | 5,000 CZK |
Work beyond the package, such as catching up on past years, corrections or dealings with the authorities, is charged by the hour: accounting work 1,250 CZK an hour, our tax advisor 2,500 CZK an hour. We agree it with you before we start.
