Every s.r.o. files a corporate income tax return each year, also when it made no profit or did nothing. Together with the return, the company files its financial statements (balance sheet and profit and loss account) and later publishes them in the Collection of Deeds (Sbírka listin) of the commercial register.
What we do
- Check the bookkeeping of the year and make the year-end closing entries.
- Prepare the financial statements and the corporate income tax return.
- Calculate the tax, the tax advances for the next year, and what a dividend would cost.
- File the return electronically and send the financial statements to the Collection of Deeds.
- Explain the result in English: what the company pays, by when, and what it means for you as the owner.
Is the bookkeeping kept elsewhere, or not at all? Then we first bring it up to date; that work is charged by the hour.
How much tax
An s.r.o. pays 21% corporate income tax on its profit. When the profit is paid out to you as a dividend, the company withholds another 15%. Try the corporate tax calculator or salary or dividends?
Deadlines
The return is due by 1 April on paper, 1 May electronically, or 1 July when a tax advisor files it. With our certified tax advisor your company gets the extended deadline, provided the power of attorney reaches the tax office in time.
